What Is Avetta?
Avetta is a contractor prequalification platform used by major Australian principals and asset owners — including the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), which requires contractors it engages for rail corridor and other high-risk work to be registered and prequalified through Avetta.
Registration takes a day. Approval is the trap — Avetta requires a completed prequalification questionnaire (PQF), uploaded evidence (WHS documentation, SWMS, insurances, licences, training records) plus client-specific modules that vary by site and type of work, and Avetta’s own membership fee. Expired documents flag you as non-compliant automatically.
Avetta’s review process checks your safety documentation against your client’s criteria, and incomplete or generic paperwork gets rejected — while your start date slips.
